Record Keeping for Manual Osteopaths

Workshop description:

 

Understanding and the application of best practices of clinical record keeping for manual osteopath practitioners.
We will explore the intake notes, what is SOAP, what are focus notes, what is DARP and various best practices guidelines from different countries: Australia, New – Zealand, United States and CanadaWhat the participants are taught:
– What is the expectation of clinical recording,
– What information are you expected to collect: the first intake assessment information provided by client, client first and client subsequent visit charting. Planning a client treatment plan.
– What are the various modalities of charting that are available: Narrative charting, SOAP, DARP and focus notes.
– Exploring the best practices in record keeping in the field of manual osteopathic practice.

This workshop is recognized for 3 hours of Continuing Education with the National Manual Osteopathic Society (NMOS), The British Columbia Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (BCAOMP) and the Canadian Alliance of Alternative Medicine (ACMA)
